Embark on a one-day bus tour to efficiently explore and enjoy Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge and Motonosumi Shrine
Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge and Motonosumi Shrine are two of Yamaguchi Prefecture’s must-see scenic destinations. This one-day bus tour offers an efficient way to visit both sites, while also giving you the chance to enjoy and shop for Yamaguchi’s regional products and local specialties at a roadside station along the route.
The tour also
serves as a convenient means of transportation from Nagato Yumoto Onsen or Nagatoshi Station to Yamaguchi City—perfect for the day after a relaxing stay in Nagato Yumoto Onsen.
*During the period when visits to Motonosumi Shrine are suspended (weekends and public holidays from September 1, 2025 to November 30, 2025), you can still enter the site known as Ryugu no Shiofuki, where you can photograph the shrine. During this period, the stay time will be shortened, and the itinerary will be specially modified to include a route via Akiyoshidai.
The Highlight Course offers a smooth and enjoyable way to visit Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge and Motonosumi Shrine while avoiding heavy traffic and congestion during peak travel periods such as Golden Week, Obon, and other consecutive holidays.

Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge is a popular filming location featured in numerous TV commercials. Its breathtaking view—featuring resort-like white sand beaches and vibrant cobalt blue waters—has become a social media sensation, earning it a spot among Japan’s top scenic destinations.
Motonosumi Shrine is famous for its breathtaking view of 123 red torii gates stretching toward the Sea of Japan. The vivid contrast between the vibrant red gates, the deep blue sea, and the lush green surroundings has made it one of the world’s most visually striking shrines.
During the closure period (weekends and public holidays from September 1 to November 30, 2025), visitors can still enter the “Ryugu no Shiofuki” area to take photos of the shrine, but the visiting time will be shortened.
Endless grasslands dotted with white limestone, resembling a flock of sheep. Enjoy the scenic Akiyoshidai Karst Road from your vehicle window.
Note: The route via Akiyoshidai Karst Road operates only on weekends and public holidays from September to November.

Yumemisaki is the perfect spot for lunch in Tsunoshima. Relax and enjoy a calm, scenic meal with stunning views of the sea.
Treat yourself to a set meal featuring kawara soba, a local specialty originating from Shimonoseki.
After your meal, you can enjoy a leisurely walk and climb the nearby Tsunoshima Lighthouse♪

Entry to the shrine precincts is not permitted, but photography is allowed. We have also prepared a special route where you can enjoy the Akiyoshidai Karst Road from your window.
